The Artists' Village celebrates Northumberland's visual arts community at the Festival, combining the inspiration of a gallery visit with the accessibility and function of an artist's workshop.
A dynamic range of painters, potters, weavers, stained-glass artists, photographers, jewellers and woodworkers are invited to showcase at the Festival based on the uniqueness and quality of their work and their willingness to display, demonstrate and discuss it in the open-air setting. The interactive element at the village is a popular aspect of the Artists' Village every year.

Festival-goers have an opportunity to purchase works by all of the juried
exhibitors and are encouraged to take part in a range of interactive
workshops and opportunities presented by various artists.
