A long ribbon of white tents provides visitors an opportunity to stroll through a dynamic exhibit including painters, potters, weavers, photographers, jewelers, woodworkers and many other unique and creative art forms. Our “artists” are invited through a juried process to showcase their work, chosen for its uniqueness and quality, and the artist’s willingness to interact, demonstrate, and share in the process of creation, in an open-air setting. The interactive element of the Artists’ Village is a key aspect of the village each year.

The Artists' Village celebrates Northumberland's visual arts community each Labour Day weekend, combining the inspiration of a gallery visit with the accessibility and function of an artist's workshop.
