Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Shelter Valley Folk Festival (SVFF).
The SVFF is a community based, family oriented festival where people have the opportunity to work and interact in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Volunteering at the SVFF is a rewarding and enriching experience.
We have more than 300 volunteers providing essential services for the festival. Without the contribution and commitment of our volunteers, the festival would not be possible.
No pets are allowed on site; however, service dogs that provide access support are permitted. Please let me know if you need to bring a service dog on site.

We ask our volunteers to make a personal commitment to abide by our Code of Conduct and to be enthusiastic, tolerant, flexible and helpful. In return, each volunteer is admitted free of charge for the weekend and provided with meals from supper on Friday to lunch on Sunday. Although we are unable to address the specific food needs of volunteers with particular food preferences or allergies, we do offer a vegetarian option. We provide reasonable portions of healthy and interesting 'home cooked' food, but if you have special dietary needs, please bring your own food. Volunteers also receive a festival t-shirt. As in the past, volunteers will be asked to donate a nominal fee so that we can purchase eco-friendly volunteer t-shirts.
Volunteers also enjoy free camping, a mid summer concert/picnic and other volunteer appreciation events.
If you are unsure what volunteer role(s) you are interested in, brief descriptions of the duties of each position are summarized at the Volunteer Roles link below. Please note that we have marked the roles that are already filled.
Please visit this site regularly to check out Shelter Valley Folk Festival updates.

Price of the engraved stone is $50 tax included. The stones will be installed in groups, and you'll be able to see yours next summer when you arrive on site.
The only text on the stone is the name of the volunteer.
